UPDATED
Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a fire on Sargent Avenue at 10:47 pm on Saturday, June 5, 2021.
When crews arrived smoke was coming from a three-storey apartment block and an offensive attack was launched. The fire was declared under control at 11:13pm.
Residents were able to return to their suites once the building had been ventilated.
One person was assessed by paramedics but did not require transport to hospital.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
