Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a well-involved fire on Sunday, July 5, 2020, around 8:35 pm.
When crews arrived they found thick smoke and flames coming from a garage in the back lane between Simcoe Street and Beverly Street just south of Ellice Avenue.

An offensive attack was launched and the fire was bought quickly under control although crews remained on scene for about two-and-a-half hours.
The fire is under investigation.
