Around 9:42 pm on Saturday, October 29, 2022, fire crews responded to a blaze in a single-storey vacant house on Stella Avenue near McGregor Street.
Light smoke could be seen coming from the home as firefighters arrived on the scene. An offensive attack was launched and the fire was declared under control within 15 minutes.
Neighbours in the area told News 4 that the building had been the object of multiple fires in recent months.
A search of the structure was undertaken and no occupants were found inside.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
