An apartment fire in a three-storey building was brought under control within 30 minutes on Thursday afternoon, October 27, 2022.
Around 3:30 pm crews were called to the 300 block of Assiniboine Avenue. As they arrived on the scene they saw smoke coming from the building and launched an offensive attack.
No injuries were reported. Firefighters did rescue a cat from the building and reunited it with its human.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
