Winnipeg firefighters were able to quickly extinguish a fire in a vacant single-storey house on Flora Avenue just west of Powers Street on Monday, April 24, 2023.
The call came in around 6:15 pm and when crews arrived on the scene they saw smoke coming from the structure. Crews entered the building and attacked the fire. It was declared under control at 6:36 pm.
No injuries were reported and no one was found in the building.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
