Firefighters injured in crash

Two firefighters were injured Sunday evening around 7pm after their SUV was involved in an accident with another vehicle.

The fire department vehicle had been responding to a call with emergency lights and sirens on when the collision occurred at Regent Avenue West and Lagimodiere Boulevard. Both firefighters were taken to hospital, treated for minor injuries and released.

There were no other injuries.
