A fire in a two-story townhouse the first 100 block of Strauss Drive had firefighters responding just after 7:30 am on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.
When crews arrived on the scene they found smoke inside the building and launched an offensive attack. The fire was declared under control within 20 minutes and was contained to the suite where it had originated.
No injuries were reported. The person living in the suite was not home at the time of the blaze.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
