Firefighters from the RM of Springfield responded to a fire in an industrial building in the 3000 block of Symington Road.

When firefighters arrived the structure was fully involved. Crews responded from all three stations in the RM of Springfield and battled the blaze for several hours.
Water tankers had to shuttle water to the site to keep the pumpers working.
The building was completely destroyed.
The cause of the fire is under investigation
