Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service was called out to fight a number of outside fires on Wednesday morning, August 12, 2020.
Logan Avenue Fire
At 12:04 am a call came in reporting a fire outside the Pioneer Arena on Logan Avenue.

A small fire had been set against the building.
The fire was quickly put out.
Garbage Dump Hill Fire
Less than 30 minutes later crews responded to a grass fire on the east side of Garbage Dump Hill.
Crews used hand lines to knock down the flames. The fire was declared under control within 20 minutes.
Both fires are under investigation.
