Crews battle fire for the second time in as many months in the same building

Winnipeg Firefighters battled a fire on William Avenue Wednesday evening, December 4, 2019, and it is not the first time they have been to the same boarded-up building.

Just before 6:00 pm, firefighters were called to the 400 block of William Avenue between Gertie Street and Harriet Street.

Crews were called to the same building in the early morning hours of September 29, 2019, to battle a previous blaze in the abandoned structure.
