An early morning apartment fire on Furby Street on Sunday, July 17, 2022 sent residents into the street.
Crews were called to the three-storey structure in the 400 block around 3:45 am and were greeted with smoke and flames coming from the building as they arrived. An offensive attack was launched with the fire being declared under control at 4:23 am.
Residents in the building were able to get themselves out before firefighters arrived. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Officials say that the fire damage was contained to a single suite but additional suites did suffer water damage.
