Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to the report of a fire in the 900 block of Cathedral Avenue on Saturday night, December 18, 2021.

When firefighters arrived on the scene they found smoke and flames coming from a detached garage in the back lane. A vehicle inside the building was apparently leaking gas and adding fuel to the fire according to a firefighter on the scene.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation. No injuries were reported.
