Late Wednesday afternoon, March 8, 2023, emergency crews battled a blaze in a one-and-a-half-storey house in the 200 block of Magnus Avenue.
When firefighters pulled up to the scene they found smoke coming from the structure. An offensive attack was launched inside the building and the fire was declared under control within 20 minutes.
A search of the premises found no one inside. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
