Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of an SUV on fire inside St. Vital Park around 4:45 pm on Friday, June 2, 2023.
When firefighters arrived on the scene they found a vehicle parked on the roadway fully engulfed in flames. Crews used hand lines to pour water on the flames and had the fire knocked down in short order.
It is not known at this time what sparked the flames.
No injuries were reported.
