Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a structure fire in a St. Mary Avenue office tower near Hargrave Street around 9:15 pm on Saturday, September 10, 2022.
When firefighters arrived on the scene the building’s alarm was going off but no smoke was showing. Firefighters located heavy smoke on the fourth floor and launched an offensive attack.
Outside the building, water poured from around the windows as crews battled the blaze inside.
The fire was declared under control within an hour.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
