An early morning fire in a vacant two-storey home on Grove Street in Point Douglas was quickly put out by emergency crews.
Around 1:53 am firefighters responded to the 100 block and found flames and smoke coming from the structure. An offensive interior attack was launched and the fire was declared under control at 2:24 am. A search of the building found no one inside.
No injuries were reported.
