Firefighter hurt in Balmoral Street blaze Sunday morning

A Winnipeg firefighter was injured during a fire in the 100 block of Balmoral Street Sunday morning November 5, 2017.

As crews arrived at the three-story structure just after 2:00 am flames could be seen shooting out of the building.

The blaze was confined to one suite.

An estimate of the damage or cause of the fire has not been released but the fire is under investigation.

No one else was hurt in the blaze, the firefighter will be ok according to fire officials.
