Just before 6:00 am on Sunday, February 16, 2020, firefighters were called to a fire on Philip Lee Drive in Transcona.
As crews were approaching the scene they could see a four-storey building completely engulfed in flames.
The fire was in a new condo development that was under construction at the time.
Firefighters launched an exterior defensive attack while also working to protect the other buildings in the complex as well as nearby homes.
Fire officials say that as a precaution they evacuated residences in the area.
