Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a fire just after noon on Monday, August 2, 2021, in the 700 block of Jarvis Avenue.

When crews arrived on the scene smoke was seen coming from the inside of a commercial building. An offensive attack was launched and the fire was brought under control at 1:13 pm.

Crews searched the building and found no one inside.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
