Fire has destroyed a Manitoba Avenue duplex during an early morning blaze on Tuesday, August 21, 2018.
It started around 4:30 am and was fully involved before fire crews arrived.
Homes in the immediate area were evacuated and no injuries were reported.
A second home had slight damage to soffits and siding
Fire crews fought the fire from the outside the structure because it was too dangerous for them to enter.
What started the inferno is unknown and is under investigation.
Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service say that Manitoba Avenue in the area of the fire scene will be closed for most of the day.
