Late Monday afternoon a huge fire destroyed a home on Rose Garden Crescent in the Bridgewater development in south Winnipeg.
Fire crews arrived to find the garage fully involved and it didn’t take long for it to spread to the rest of the home.
According to fire officials the home will be a total loss and the speed in which the fire spread was in part caused by the design of the home.
Fire investigators are on scene and will determine the cause of the fire. No estimate on the total cost of damages.
