Lipton Street blaze keeps fire crews busy Tuesday evening

Winnipeg Fire crews responded to a blaze at the corner of Lipton Street and Yarwood Avenue just before 8:00 pm Tuesday evening, November 13, 2018.

 

 

The two-story commercial building was well involved when firefighters arrived on scene.

No one was in the building and witnesses tell News 4 that the building had been vacant for some time.

It took crews about three hours to extinguish the blaze.

The cause of the fire is unknown but is under investigation say fire officials at the scene.
