Winnipeg Fire paramedic Service are investigating the cause of a house fire on Friday afternoon, January 3, 2020.
Just before 2:00 pm firefighters were called to a two-and-a-half storey vacant building where they encountered heavy smoke as they arrived.
On offensive attack was launched and the fire was declared under control with a half hour.
A search of the structure did not find anyone inside. No injuries were reported.
The building had previously suffered significant damage during an April 2029 fire.
