Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a fire in the three-storey, multi-family house at William Avenue and Isabel Street just after midnight on Sunday, May 9, 2021.
When crews arrived they encountered light smoke coming from the building and launched an offensive attack. The fire was declared under control at 12:31 am.
The people inside the building at the time of the fire had self-evacuated before firefighters arrived on the scene.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
