The cause of a fire in a townhouse complex on Prymak Place that is under construction is under investigation.
Winnipeg firefighters responded to the blaze just before 7:00 pm on Monday evening, March 1, 2021.
When they arrived smoke was coming from the two-storey complex. An offensive attack was initially launched but crews had to transition to a defensive attack as conditions within the structure worsened.
Once conditions improved firefighters re-entered the building. The fire was contained to the original suite where it had started. The fire was declared under control at 7:33 pm.
No one was found in the building and no injuries were reported.
