RCMP and the Office of the Fire Commissioner are investigating a fatal house fire in Tataskweyak Cree Nation.

Police say they received a report of the fire around 11:05 pm on Sunday, April 2, 2023.

Once the fire was extinguished, firefighters were able to enter the residence and found a 25-year-old woman who was pronounced dead.
