Just before noon on Saturday, June 13, 2020, Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Serivice were called to a vacant bungalow in the 500 block of Burrows Avenue.
As firefighters arrived on scene they found smoke and flames coming from the structure. A defensive attack was launched from the exterior of the building until conditions improved to allow crews inside.
The fire was declared under control around 12:16 pm.
Fire crews searched the house and found no one inside. No injuries were reported.
According to fire officials the building had extensive damage from a previous fire. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
