Winnipeg fire crews responded  to a blaze in the 300 block of Selkirk just after 6:30 Sunday morning.

Smoke could be seen billowing  out of the building as firefighters fought the inferno with multiple crews.

Selkirk from Salter to Aikins was closed to traffic during the incident but has now reopened.

An estimate of the damage and cause of the fire have not been released yet.
