Fire crews responded to a house fire in the 800 block of Lyon Street in Ft.Garry Friday evening.
The fire broke out in a bungalow around 9:45pm. Several crews were on scene battling the interior fire.
When firefighters entered the home they found an unconscious female. She was taken to hospital in critical condition but has since been upgraded to stable.
The damage is estimated at more than $200,000
The exact cause of the fire is still being investigated by members of the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service, however, it does not appear to be suspicious in nature.
