RCMP in Flin Flon have arrested a robber who attacked two people with a fire extinguisher before robbing them.
On Monday, January 22, 2018, officers responded an assault report at a business around 6:20 pm.
When they arrived they found a female employee who has been sprayed in the face with a fire extinguisher as the suspect stole a bottle of liquor.
Police say that as they were investigating the assault and robbery another call came in from another business nearby. This time the suspect stole cigarettes but again sprayed a female employee in the face with a fire extinguisher.
The RCMP eventually got their man a 19-year-old from Denare Beach, Saskatchewan.
Darnell Custer is facing multiple charges for his alleged involvement including two counts of Robbery, Mischief, Theft Under $5000, two counts of Assault with a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and six counts of Fail to Comply with Probation.
Custer was detained in custody.
