Fire and Paramedic crews blocked McGregor Street near Flora Avenue for a fire in a multi-floor St. Josaphat Selo Villa seniors complex just after 10:30pm Tuesday night.
Although fire could not be seen from the street witnesses tell News4 that there was a small fire inside the building that was quickly extinguished.
At least one person was taken on a stretcher into an ambulance by paramedics but the extent of their injuries is unknown.
