Several people treated at scene including a firefighter
Just after midnight on Monday April 24, 2017 fire crews responded to a fire in an apartment high rise at 360 Cumberland Avenue.
When crews arrived they found a fire in the garbage shoot and thick black smoke between floors 15 and 21.
One person was taken to hospital in stable condition and several others were treated for smoke inhalation on scene.
A firefighter was also suffered a minor injury to their arm that paramedics were able to treat on scene as well.
The cause of the fire and the estimated damage from it is not known.
