Fire destroys St. Adolphe home

A fire destroyed a Kosman Boulevard home in the community of St. Adolphe Tuesday night, June 25, 2019. St. Adolphe is about 29 kilometres south of Winnipeg

When fire crews arrived shortly before 11:00 pm they were met with heavy smoke and flames shooting from the roof of the two-storey home.

RM of Richot Fire Chief Scott Wier told News 4 that one woman suffered burns to her hand and face and was taken to hospital. A family cat was found dead in home

It took crews about an hour to bring the fire under control

The cause of the blaze is under investigation by members of the Office of the Fire Commissioner.
