Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a house fire on Viking Road Monday afternoon, September 7, 2020.
When firefighters arrived flames and smoke could be seen coming from the garage.
An offensive attack was launched and the fire was declared under control just before 3:00 pm. Due to the location of the blaze tankers had to be used to ferry water to the site of the fire.
One person was assessed on scene but they did not require hospitalization.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
