Cityplace food court was the scene of an early morning fire Tuesday.
It happened around 1:45 am when fire broke out in one of the food courts kitchens. The fire set off the automatic sprinkler system flooding parts of the the second floor.
Smoke from the blaze all caused damage to the building.
No one was injured in the incident but the City of Winnipeg 311 call centre that is located close to where the fire was had to be evacuate.
Fire officials do not yet have an estimate of the damage.
