FIRE BAN in Winnipeg
The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service has placed a ban on all open-air burning until further notice within the City of Winnipeg due to dry conditions.
That means permits will not be issued for bonfires, fires for burning crop residue, fires for disposing of wood and warming fires.
Residential fire pits can still be used but not when winds exceed 25Km per hour.
