Fifth suspect arrested for the November 2021 killing of Tyler Yarema

Winnipeg Police have arrested the fifth suspect in the November 29, 2021, death of 42-year-old Tyler Patrick Yarema.

Police believe that Yarema was shot during a home invasion in the 200 block of Forrester Avenue.

Investigators identified five suspects in the case and between December 21, 2021 and January 20, 2022, had arrested four of them; Keegan Shamus McGee Little, 24; Jamie Rae Shorting, 24; Jamie Lee Rudolph,33 and Jake Steven Ducharme, 33.

The fifth suspect Bryce Alexander Keating, 23 of Winnipeg, was taken into custody on Friday, January 28, 2022, near Ellice Avenue and Wall Street. He was charged for his alleged involvement with Second Degree Murder, Possession of Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order and two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order.

Police say that all five suspects have been detained in custody
