Winnipeg Police had northbound Main Street closed for several hours Friday night at Jarvis Avenue after a female pedestrian was struck by a van.

Police say the adult female was taken to hospital but it was determined that her injuries were minor.

Traffic was diverted around the scene as members of the Traffic Unit investigated the incident.
