Winnipeg police have charged a 24-year-old female with Arson in connection to the fire on Dufferin on Monday.
Police say they had responded to the report of a fight in a residence in the multi-unit townhouse complex. Smoke was coming from the structure when officers arrived. The officers confirmed a working fire and evacuated the complex while Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service was en route.
There were no injuries as a result of the fire say police.
