Three teens were arrested and one is wanted after a father and adult daughter were assaulted on Monday night at the Forks.
According to police, the victims reported that they were confronted by a group of unknown females who demanded money. When the male refused the group began kicking and punching him in the head. While the assault was underway the daughter called 911 causing the group to turn their attention to her. The daughter was assaulted and had her phone smashed before the group ran away.
Police in the area were able to locate three of the suspects and take them into custody while the other suspect made their escape.
The male victim was taken to hospital in stable condition
Two 13-year-old females, and a 15-year-old female have been charged for their alleged involvement with robbery-related charges. All three were released on undertakings as mandated by the Criminal Code of Canada.
Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a 14-year-old female for similar charges.
