Shooter caught and charged in Bannerman Avenue death

As News 4 told you last week, on July 28, 2016, at approximately 11:30 am, Winnipeg Police responded to the 100 block of Bannerman Avenue for a report of gun shots heard in the area. 

Officers determined that an incident had occurred in a multi-family residence which sparked an investigation by WPS Homicide Officers after that found a male suffering from a gunshot wound.The victim was transported to hospital, but was pronounced dead.

The shooting victim has been identified as Kingston Paul, 20 years, of Winnipeg

On July 29, 2016, homicide detectives arrested 61-year-old Erskine Juggles. He has been charged with Manslaughter (with Firearm).

He was detained in custody.
