RCMP say a 30-year-old male from Winnipeg is dead after the vehicle he was driving went off the road south of Thompson.
On Tuesday July 2, 2019, the vehicle was seen speeding and driving in an erratic manner. Police say the black truck was swerving in and out of traffic about 50 kilometres south of Thompson on Highway 6.
As officers were responding to the call they learned the vehicle had driven off the road and rolled several times. The driver did not survive and was declared dead at the scene.
Initially investigators said the man was not wearing his seatbelt but on further investigation they confirmed that he was
