Two injured one dead in pickup/semi collision

RCMP in Carmen say that a 47-year-old man has died after the truck he was driving collided with a semi-trailer truck early Sunday evening, January 28, 2018.

It happened at the intersection of Road 32 North and Road 28 West south of Carmen in the RM of Dufferin.

The driver of the pickup died at the scene. A 15-year-old female in the pickup was taken to the hospital with serious injuries but is now in stable condition. The other passenger in the pickup, a 16-year-old female was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The 35-year-old driver of the Semi was not injured in the collision.

Police say that alcohol was not a factor in the accident

The investigation is continuing.
