One woman dead
As News4 told you on Wednesday a serious collision occurred between two vehicles on Disraeli Freeway around 2:45 pm near Argyle School . Traffic in both directions was closed late into the evening.
Investigators have learned that the collision happened when the driver of a Saturn SL1 travelling northbound crossed the centre median and was hit by a Chevy Cavalier.
The driver of the Saturn, a male aged 25, was taken to hospital in stable condition. His passenger a 33 year old female was taken to hospital in critical condition where she died of her injuries.
The driver of the Cavalier was treated for minor injuries.
