Fire crews battled a fire in the 100 block of Austin Street North around 1:30am Thursday. The multi story rooming house was fully involved when fire fighters arrived.
Two people died in what was described as a difficult fire to fight and two more sent to hospital.
The fire is under investigation.

Several hours earlier a fire on Aberdeen Avenue claimed another life.
Emergency crews were called to the home in the 200 block where they found a badly burned man. He was listed as critical at first but soon died of his injuries.
