Just after 6pm on Wednesday evening a passerby on Aberdeen Avenue noticed smoke and called 911. Crews responded to a fire in the 200 block of Aberdeen.
Firefighters found a male in his 50’s who was in critical condition but died of their injuries in hospital. The cause of death is not known at this time.
It appears that the fire was a result of cooking in the kitchen and is not deemed suspicious in nature.
