The Office of the Fire Commissioner says that the fatal fire near Plumas on November 8, 2019 was caused by careless cooking.
Two adults and one child were found dead after firefighters extinguished the afternoon blaze.
Four other children who lived in the home were at another location when the fire broke out.
Fire officials also say that there were no working smoke detectors inside the residence at the time of the fire.
