A 40 year old Winnipeg man is dead and a 28 year old Winnipeg woman is in stable condition in hospital after the vehicle they were in went out of control. Both the passenger and driver were ejected from the SUV.
Police were called to the scene at around 10:30 Sunday evening on Hwy 59 just south of Grand Beach. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police do not know at this time who was driving but it is believed that alcohol was a factor in the single vehicle crash.
The investigation is continuing.
