Winnipeg Police are investigating a fatal collision on Notre Dame Avenue near Weston Street that happened just after 5:30 am on Friday, April 20, 2018.
Police say that a van, travelling westbound on Notre Dame crossed the median and crashed into the Nygard building then caught fire. The male driver of the vehicle was found dead at the scene. No one else was in the vehicle.

Police have the area closed as they try to determine the cause of the collision.
