A Fatal collision in Steinbach has claimed the life of a 20-year-old male from Kleefeld.
RCMP say that just before 12:30 pm on Friday, March 16, 2018, a two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Highway 52 and Industrial Road in Steinbach.
Police say that the 46-year-old driver of a vehicle was making a left hand turn onto Industrial Road when the vehicle was hit by a cement truck.
The cement truck driver was not injured but the driver of the vehicle that was hit and his 20-year-old son were taken to hospital. The 20-year-old died shortly afterwards.
Investigators say that Alcohol and speed are not considered factors in the crash. Seatbelts were in use at the time of the collision.
The investigation continues.
